Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Following a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. Primary Feature

This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
