In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Disclosed

According to the official announcement, "A strange encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of banned rituals and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret sect.

The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with several items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Update

This patch also introduces the game's latest complimentary story episode, titled "The Enigma."
